Why you westerners are always thinking about slowdown or contain other countries in competition. It's like trying to trip the one who is in front of you in a running game, instread of trying to run faster yourself. That's evil!

🤔🤔🤔 As a software engineer I'd say Chinese AI models are 90% as good as US ones and cost about 15%. I switched to GLM 5.2 from Claude and saved a ton of $$$. I would say Chinese models are closing that gap every day.

It's so funny that DW is trying to obscure Taiwan on its maps (in this case thumbnail), because of the inconvenient fact that it's the official news outlet of a state that nominally recognizes the One China Principle, with Beijing as its sole capital.

Cet invité ne fait que mentir sans gêne,c'est vraiment éhonté de sa part.

How does China “surpass the USA by copying it”? Logically doesn’t make sense (unless it’s cope)

Yesterday it was Japan. Today it's China. Tomorrow it could be India, and after that, any other country. Does this basically mean no country is allowed to surpass the U.S. whether in military strength, economic power, or soft power? It seems like the U.S. will never allow any country to get ahead or even come close. But why?

USA need a lot of AI desperately as its leaders lack intelligence :face-green-smiling:

Send your journalists to China to get first hand information ( the world is so far behind)

if we can't beat them, call them "national security"

Thanks to U.S. export controls on AI chips, vast market opportunities have created for China domestic chip manufacturers, such as Huawei and Cambricon.

Typical hypocritical Western media trying to contain any non-Western countries that rise. They did it with Japan during the Plaza Accord, and now the US is saying we will not allow India to grow like China.

I clicked on the video expecting to hear argument on Dependency Ratio, model performance, maybe contexture awareness between the Chinese and US AI products…but it just talked about China’s technology export…if we are talking about the manufacturing/export power, China already won that trophy.
@
then why over 80 percent of silicon valley startups use chinese open source models then it is all about cost advantage customizable and good enough

US ai 100$
China ai 10$ for similar performance
@
the only threat to US national security is US itself. when 40 million ppl dont have health insurance US is already in trouble😂
@
In US alone China AI models already capture 45% users by big and small firms. Washington so ironic always thinks that without them China can't function
@
Instead of trying to contain China, USA and Europe should focus on advancing themselves.

China: focus on self development
West: focus on contain China

Such a shame

Western media is always talking about how to contain, destroy, slowdown etc etc etc someone's effort to be independent from western hegemony while in the same breath painting themselves as saints who care about human rights and freedom, whatever that means.
