Now they know what it feels like. For the last 20 years workers in high cost countries like the UK, Australia, Canada trained low cost workers from India (particularly in IT and support roles), the Philippines, who then took their roles with outsourcing overseas.

Technology may continue to advance, reaching heights we could never imagine. But if these innovations do not translate into real opportunities for people — such as jobs, livelihoods, and ways to improve daily life — then their benefit will remain limited. In that case, technology will serve only as entertainment or spectacle, not as a true force for human progress.
I doubt that these specific workers will lose their jobs. After all, automated machines exist today that could do most of their jobs much faster and more precisely, but these machines require a large investment, and this small factory likely doesn't have the funds.
As an Indian, I think its inevitable.. No point resistin the new A.I and Robotics Revolution.
