7:00 I just love intuitive, idiot-proof design like that. Itโ€™s the basic premise like plugs that only go in one way. But every now and then you find something that isnโ€™t designed like that and it can just be so unnecessarily confusing. Like building door handles that look like a bar to pull but theyโ€™re actually push.

If you're ever in Australia again, you should look into the "Waterfall Stop Sign" on the Sydney Harbour Tunnel. They needed a warning barrier that would appear in front of approaching vehicles, but not a physical obstruction that would inflict damage. The answer was to project the image of a stop sign onto a curtain of falling water. Impossible for a driver to ignore, but it allows emergency vehicles to pass through unhindered.

If you ever want a more detailed insight on the technology, you are very welcome to visit our factory in Cologne, Germany. You can even get here by train and travel through the Eurotunnel between France and the UK, which is also protected by our water mist system :)
