With the use of magnetic shielding, you can make a monopole magnet. I work with metal all day at work and have always carried a magnet in my tool kit to take metal out of my eye or the eyes of some of my colleagues. It works great unless you get the metal in deep, as my magnet is not super strong.

That last one was a real mind blower. To think we are all magnets! Wow!

Don't carry anything with a magnet in your purse with your debit card. It will demagnetize.

I have a magnet in my head, I have a cochlear implant.

The other day I was grinding metal to make a special size wrench 🔧 that fits onto a weird nut on an axle. I didn't realize the grinding bit I was using was creating little razor sharp steel splinters of metal shavings. When I went to brush the metal shavings off my hands by rubbing them together 👏. I painfully embedded about 20 .metal splinters into each hand.
I began to worry & wonder how the heck I was going to get them out.
So I carefully lathered my hands up in soapy water.Trying to touch things or press hard with the soap because it was painful..Some of the slivers got pulled out by the bar of soap 🧼 & got embedded in the soap bar.
Then I used a strong neodium magnet 🧲 and it thankfully was able to remove the lubricated splinters out of my skin. I think the warm water & soap really helped the magnet 🧲 pull em out.
