This was done to spains tactical set up. Even when Spain lost the ball their press and closing of the channels were immaculate. Cucurella and Rodri were immense. France won the World Cup when they had quality Midfielders like Pogba, Griezmann, Kanté and Matuidi... World class Football doesn't work without quality playmakers and deep lying midfielders...
