France vs. England delivered one of the wildest matches in World Cup history, with an unbelievable 10-goal thriller in the 2026 FIFA World Cup Third-Place Playoff. Bukayo Saka stole the show with a se
If anything we have learnt from this WC experience is that the fans own the game, not FIFA not the billionaires, not the players and certainly not the American Government . It was a match for world fans who love to watch the beautiful game. It's an entertainment business and everyone got their money's worth
Mbappé is one of the greats. Sadly, the person on the right is far too critical of both Mbappé and France, and seriously underestimates how difficult it is to score consistently at the World Cup. He seems to think scoring in back-to-back matches is easy, when it’s one of the toughest achievements in football.
Mbappé has done his job for both club and country. He scores, creates chances, leads from the front, and accepts responsibility. But football is an 11-player game—no single player can carry an entire team every match.
Against Spain, the first penalty—whether you agree with it or not—completely changed the momentum. France struggled to recover after that. Had France gone on to win, the narrative would have been completely different.
Some critics wanted Mbappé to step aside, yet when he scores, they act as if anyone could do it. It isn’t that simple. After the defeat, Mbappé even took responsibility for the team’s performance. What more can you ask from a captain and leader?
Look back at 2018: players like Pogba and Griezmann had outstanding games and supported Mbappé brilliantly. Against Spain, Olise had an off day, the midfield struggled, and France paid the price. That’s
I was watching this and the first half I thought England would win 6-1, but instead mbappe, barcola and Dembele locked in to have hopes of a comeback, but it wasn't enough Congrats England 🎉🥉
That was one of the most fun games that I’ve seen at a World Cup if not the most fun game! Also, we didn’t have biased refereeing towards one team, which made it so much more enjoyable to watch. One of my big qualms with watching soccer is that over the course of 90 minutes usually there’s only one to maybe three goals and the game is so much more fun and engaging in my opinion when you do have a lot more goals scored. There were so many breakaways. I already know this will be my favorite match of the entire World Cup. I’ll also very much enjoy if VARgentina lose tomorrow.
Saka and Bellingham are so good! Bellingham kept England in the euros 2 years back too! England fans gotta appreciate their big players! Goal keeper has always been solid too.
Just enjoy the spectacle ffs, some people are so negative in their mindset
