I never imagined it would just work if you walk up to an F1 driver and tell him "I'll give you a handfull of cash if you walk around with this and hold it into the camera".
The best thing (to me) is Red Bull sponsors soap box car racing so people with enough creativity on a budget that can make a contraption that can go down a hill fast can enter
It's interesting that RedBull bought the Ford F1 team and then recently Ford re-entered F1 buy helping RedBull build their own RedBull Ford power unit for the upcoming F1 season.
It still amazes me that in 2011 some friends and I hosted a PC gaming event (LAN Party) with some 40 attendees and Red Bull happily attended and handed out free drinks. It was the funniest thing ever seeing all our (mostly man) guests lining up for a free drink and a photo with the red bull girls who of course were dressed like cheerleaders. The event was all above board and hosted at sports club, but the look on those girls face entering a room filled with nerds playing video games was priceless.
5:55 redbull literally used to sponsor a party for my college a cappella group. We’d get a mechanical bull - and because of a bull being involved, they’d hire us a DJ and send us a mountain of redbull

The "Redbull girls" at my university drove a redbull decorated mini cooper that had no rear seats because there was a huge can of redbull coming out of the roof.
It was a joy to see it driving around the city if you waved them down they'd give you a can
In a world where marketing is shoved down your throat at every opportunity I've always appreciated Red bull's approach. Sponsoring niche events, world firsts, and ensuring extreme sports athletes can excel in their field is a breathe of fresh air compared to most other brands approach.
I don't even like red bull, but every time I buy a can I feel there is a genuine contribution towards a brand doing things right and allowing me to see more crazy people doing crazy things.
Genuinely can’t believe this 17 minute video didn’t contain the words “gives you wings”
