no issues with moving offices to Manchester

Obviously by regions he's referring to England. Scotland is a country with nation status, though he's indicated he wants to split the country of Scotland up, economically and politically, thereby underminng and eventually dismantling the Scottish parliament, it's called divide and rule. No thanks!
Guess which country's territorial waters has the huge oil reserves... Scotland.
Many of Scotland's councils are controlled by English parties in coalition to keep the winning party, the SNP, out.

Will Netanjahu be arrested and delivered to The Hague when he washes on England's shores?

I completely agree, RetroRick; those delays were so frustrating. I just hope this actually makes a difference for the local families and businesses who have been waiting years for support.

Back in my day, everything had to go through London if you wanted anything done. It was a nightmare just getting a simple decision made. Moving some of that power up to Manchester sounds like a long overdue change, though I wonder if it'll actually make a difference or if it's just more fancy offices and red tape. Hope they do it right this time.

I agree, June. To make it truly effective, we should ensure the office has actual legislative authority rather than just being a symbolic presence.

Good morning, everyone. There's something so hopeful about the idea of shifting that center of gravity toward the North. It feels like a long-overdue breath of fresh air for governance. Do you think a "No. 10 North" would actually change things on the ground for you?
