On a similar note to this video, I'd love to see you look at the engineering of a modern hearing aid, especially a high-end over-the-ear hearing aid. They have to do a lot of real-time processing of sound, and nowadays even have features like bluetooth built in (all within a small electrical budget of a tiny battery, rechargeable or dry cell)!
Honestly I love these videos. I love the aerospace, don’t get me wrong, but there are many modern marvels of engineering that we use daily that many of us never even think of. These dives into how small devices had to be designed are incredibly interesting
This genuinely gave me a whole new appreciation to my AirPods Pros. Its unbelievable how they were able to engineer these components into such a tiny product.

4:56 Ericsson is AWESOME for their work in this, and for giving it to the world, but this video really needed a hat tip to Hedy Lamarr. She invented the base ideas that all modern wireless systems rely on.
Would be cool to have the same video made for another high end bud... just to see how different companies use different strategies to solve the same issue.
the vent explanation part were incorrect. Its not for resonant purpose, its there for 2 other purpose:
1. Prevent pressure buildup on your ear canal, when u insert them into your ear, due to eartips seal, u are compressing the air in your canal. Vent is there to release that pressure buildup. Otherwise the pressure either will push on either your eardrum or the speaker membrane. This also apply to controlling the pressure rise, when the speaker is doing long stroke movement during high amplitude low frequency sound (bass), they leak some of that bass pressure through the same port so it wont be overwhelming.
2. Speaker always move forward and backward in a sine wave. The vent is there to tune the properties of air flowing at the back of speaker membrane when its is moving backward. Mostly related to bass & low frequency response, and a bit of mid frequency.
