There are two factions in Iran: one is radical and vengeful and the other wants make a ceasefire deal, the latter having apologized to the U.S. for violations of the MOU by the former.

Pride has never compensated loss! Losing could be imminent or cumulative. Some one who is losing everything and proud is indeed only reckless and unaccountable..to the people but to few with entrenched interest.
Somehow a bit hollow... an invisible "supreme leader" issuing dire threats. Even so... it's clear that Donnie-boy refuses to reconcile his reality with the one the rest of us inhabit.

It’s scary how quickly these tensions escalate. You read headlines like this and can't help but wonder how it actually trickles down to the average person just trying to get by over there. Hopefully, it doesn't spiral into something much worse.
