A simple canopy would affect two countries' relations so dramatically?? There must be more to the story...

At least China uses the correct map of Serbia unlike the EU

Weird that DW is so anti China when big German industries have moved and are moving to China.
DW headquarter is experiencing a significant influx of Indian professionals. A likely cause? 😅

Doesn't sound like a downfall to me. The canopy thing was apparently not China's fault. Aren't EU politician supposed to work for their people's?

The Canopy was designed and executed by the local company, and supervised by the French. China Railway didn't built the canopy itself.

I doubt the new PM in Budapest cares that much what Brussels thinks. Foremost he'll keep in mind Hungarian interests and try to balance between the major players without choosing the wrong side too aggressively like Orban. His first interest is to draw investment wherever possible not push it away.

There is an old Chinese saying: To develop a place or a country, you need to build roads to have access to the people. This railway track is doing exactly the same. If this commentator thinks otherwise, & cut this link off , then good luck to her & her people.

It’s surprising to me that Trump & co gave their support to a prime minister who was this close to China…

Germany is going down the hill but DW is worried about the rest of the world 😅
