I know this will never happen, but we need a harsh tax against private equity firms

It wasn't a pizza diner anymore. Bring back the classic arcades, salad bar and especially the deep dish pizza. The deep dish pizza they had was so good and the bread sticks too were amazing!.
@
The final nail in the coffin was the price. A pizza should never cost the same as a nice steak dinner. Especially when the pizza doesn't taste anywhere near as good as it used to.
@
Quality went down and prices went up... Simple as that.. Tired of people trying to make sense of this stupidity.

I loved Pizza Hut in the 1990s. I then grew up and never went back. Good memories.

Considering Pizza Hut have been increasing their prices every 6 months for the past decade or so.. it's no surprise that customers went elsewhere 🤦♂️

Majority share bought by Private Equity, LongRange Capital. Bye bye employees and culture. All about efficiency now.

I stopped going there in the UK when they told me I had to use my phone to order, whilst not even providing screens to order from in the restaurant. Madness!

I worked at Pizza Hut in the 90s. One of my favorite memories was getting to eat the leftovers from the lunch buffett, so yummy!

Life changes. Grew up with pizza hut. What a treat it was

Anyone remember the 80/90's when Pizza hut was a in-door family experience? Better quality pan pizza with sald buffet bar. Then they tried to copy dominos in late 90's and it was over.

If you thought Pizza Hut was bad before, just wait until private equity gets it's hands on it. See ya, PH. Thanks for the memories.

Everyone fails to recognize that these companies CHANGE THE RECIPE all the time! That's ALSO why!

I stopped going to Pizza Hut when they closed all of the cool restaurants and turned into a takeout type place.

Seems like every big food chain goes through this cycle of cutting costs by reducing quality and over-corporatizing, and then wonder why business is suffering. When will these corporations learn
@
Looks like someone CAN outpizza the Hut after all.
@
Private equity will saddle the company with debt and sell off the land where Pizza huts stand. 😢

It was a standard....video games, salad bar, pan pizza , book it program , and way better ingredients.....they stripped away everything that made it special
@
They went with stupid door dash for delivery and fired their own delivery drivers. Nobody wants their pizza delivered in 2-3 business days.
@
Best pizza in the 90s and then just like KFC it stopped caring
