No mystery to unravel here.. parliamentary system works like this everywhere - indirect election of the PM.
But more importantly, PMs in britain are dropping like flies… I don’t think they realize that the PM isn’t the problem

Nonsense, the UK does not vote for a Prime Minister - we vote for representatives and the majority party gets to form the executive
