I'm so glad independent creators can make these sorts of videos, they can control the complexity about a subject as much they want. More than a decade ago, these sort of documentaries on cable science/information channels were bound by TV rules, the need to dumb down and dilute the technical aspects to appeal to the masses, as well as time restraints.
I work in the aircraft industry as an AML. The biggest problems with these carbon fiber fuselages is that you cannot see damages. There are a lot of damages caused by loaders etc. when these staff are not trained correctly and cause damage they cant see it and think nothing happend. When these damages arent recorded they can snowball in to a big problem even maybe a accident. Plus carbon fiber is a lot harder and more timeconsuming to repair. Traditional aluminium fuselages dont have these problems.
Correction: We do not start modern day turbofan engines by piping bleed air into the turbine section. We pipe bleed air from the APU to a turbine starter which is a regular starter that is rotated by high pressure bleed air which turns a shaft and that shaft rotates a gear inside the accessory gearbox on the engine. That gear inside the AGB that rotates a shaft that spins the compressor and turbine together. The 787 operates the same way but instead of using bleed air to spin the starter it uses an electric motor.
The safety margin for composites in aerospace is actually higher. It is at least 185% (best case scenario). The 150% is for wood and metal construction.
The test you are talking about at 38:50 is not an aborted landing. And aborted landing cancels an attempted LANDING, and the plane takes off again or just keeps flying, no brakes needed. You are talking about an aborted takeoff, where the plane has to slow back down after attempting to take off. That's when the brakes are really tested.

It’s a shame, I can hear a ton of adoration, respect, and almost reverence for this plane, in your voice. If only that respect was present in Boeing nowadays
