Honestly this is fascinating
@
I mean, I know about the mafia, but it's still quite baffling to me this is still happening in Italy, in the 21st century...
@
If people are afraid, the government should step in, when government fails, then everything fails. What is happening to Italy?
@
What a insane thing to say! Italy doesnt have a cattle problem, Italy has a Mafia problem!
@
Stunningly beautiful landscape ...
So sad to see cows destroying the area...
Violence in any form should be eradicated ...
Hats off for those brave people....
@
Not sacred cows just criminal cows
@
What a unexpectedly random problem to have., surely unheard of
@
150 cows? If they take 10 to the butchery every week, in less than 6 months no more cattle
@
Freedom is never given, you must fight for freedom or buy it.But onley few can buy it.
@
Simple….pass a by-law that any cattle on the loose that are captured will be held for 30 days. If after 30 days proof of ownership is not forthcoming from anyone they become forfeit to the state and can be sold to recover the costs. …

Reminds me of Pablo escobar's hippos 😁

As a beef cattle farmer in Kenya, I found this documentary fascinating because it shows how differently people can view the same thing. Where some see a nuisance, we see gold.

I see food security, quality beef, jobs, organic fertilizer, leather, thriving rural economies, and long term wealth creation. Cattle have sustained communities for generations. The real issue is rarely the cattle themselves. It is how they are managed, integrated into the landscape, and valued by society.

Perspective shapes opportunity. Greetings from Kenya. 🇰🇪🐂

Che vergogna, che tristezza. La mafia, ovviamente, non le mucche
@
You mean pure organic beef is just roaming around in numbers and nobody wants to do sth about it?!
@
Gosh, human society is a complex thing
@
Thank you for reporting. There are several organization fighting the mafia. If you can support them.
Remember Paolo Borselino, murdered 1992

Masai in Kenya and Tanzania are crying, they can't believe this.
@
What a crazy problem to have. This place needs to do the same thing that happened to Pablo's hippos.
@
And some people romanticise the mafia when in reality is they're scum of the earth
@
To me this is nothing to do with the "sacred" cattle, it's a daily very visible statement of power for every resident "We tell you not to touch the cattle, no matter what they do, if you do we will punish you and your family" .
It's to remind everyone who really is in charge and it's working.
Typical useless Italian government, judiciary and police.
