The United States does not owe Africa or any other part of the world financial aid or support. It may choose to help, but it is not obligated to do so. When that assistance is constantly met with hostility, insults and accusations, it is reasonable to ask why Americans should continue funding it. Perhaps instead of attacking the United States at every opportunity, people should acknowledge the support it has provided. When help is treated as an entitlement rather than appreciated, it should not be surprising when that help is withdrawn.
I'm from Kenya and we know most of the money didn't make it to the grassroots, it was wasted on expensive cars and hotels for conferences also it discourage our government from finding out how to handle some basic things. Too much corruption that's what we want U.S.A to help with. Also wantam😂.
I WAS A PROJECT OFFICER ON THREE USAID-FUNDED PROJECTS, ALL OF WHICH I FOUND TO BE INTRINSICALLY INEFFICIENT. USAID PAID RENT FOR OFFICES IN SOME OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE BUILDINGS, NEARLY 70% OF PROJECT BUDGETS WENT TO HEADCOUNT, EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION WAS EXORBITANT, AND THE LAST-MILE BENEFICIARIES RECEIVED ONLY SYMPATHY DOLLARS.
It's not America's job to fund Africa. It's time for Africa to become self-sufficient, or maybe China can double down on the belt and road initiative if Africans are incapable of building their own countries.

USAID is tax payer funded! The tax payers are paying for it. USA tax payers are in debt by 40 trillion government taxpayer funded debt! USA has ZERO responsibility to anyone other than USA Citizens!
what do they do for our country? why would we pay tax dollars to support other countries? I feed homeless war veterans all the time. time for the u.s to start helping their own citizens before sending out American tax dollars to other countries
