“They would like a foreign secretary that stays in post for more than a year. They would like a prime minister that stays in post for more than two years.”
How the hell is this man ANDY BURNHAM even PrimeMinister! I am sick and tired of us calling our system Democratic, while it seems every government we have had in recent years, has done their very best to bypass Parliament and the democratic electoral process at every turn! We voted out of the EU with a fully democratic vote that Government promised to abide by the result. What we have had, from EVERY GOVERNMENT SINCE is the reversing of our democratic decision, with a determination to drag us back into an organisation that is corrupt and the polar opposite of a democratic process! Andy Burnham had better wake up before this country explodes when people come to understand that we no longer have a democracy but an Autocracy, as in a ruling Billionaire Elitist group that rules without any scrutiny or checks or balances; literally buying and controlling our government. I refer directly to Bill Gates and Larry Fink of BlackRock as two examples. We now understand that our Elected Representatives may be being controlled by people in the shadows that threaten death of one’s relatives or even just the MP’s or Civil Servants directly. The passing of Ann Widdecombe is testimony to the pressur
Andy Burnham should rely on the politically advantageous strategy to blame the “ Orange Man Bad”, it is a beautiful strategy for the UK because it papers over their real 6 MAJOR problems that have existed for the last 10 years : Taxation , Regulation, Unemployment , Wealth/Capital Leaving , Net Zero Policies and Immigration, and in essentially welfare states such as the UK it is those problems that become more pronounced, as if these problems are put on steroids. But it seems to those countries like the UK that it is better to be politically right than economically right at least for the time being…

The turnover rate in our leadership is actually insane. It's like we're playing on hardcore mode where one mistake means an immediate game over. How are we supposed to build any kind of diplomatic streak with the EU when we keep resetting the roster every couple of years? Total chaos.

It's refreshing to hear someone speak about "real hope" rather than just painting a perfect picture. I wonder though, what does he see as the most critical immediate trade-off we'll have to make to actually achieve that cost of living relief?

Good morning, everyone. There is something so grounding about the focus on "real hope" and giving people a bit of breathing room with the cost of living. It feels like a gentle reminder that we can move forward. How are you all feeling as you start your day today?

That "powerful hammer" analogy hits hard—it's all about calculating the risk before making a move. High stakes game of chicken right here. Do you think Iran will actually play it safe, or are they just waiting for a better opening?

unless you put its Leader on the Throne
so
as long as Britain is capable of electing their own Leaders
that "stable partner" for the EU
goes down the drains
because at ANY point in time
we could elect a Leader that will do the OPPOSITE of what the EU wants
so NO,
EU does NOT want that;
they are NOT as STUPID as British are
what the EU wants
is the UK BACK into its fold
[Too late, American Taxpayers have paid $21 Trillion in the last 75 yrs to NATO to defend Europe and their unsustainable Welfare States BUT NO MORE!]
