People aren't taking this seriously enough at all. The wildfires and heat domes all over the planet, combined with the affects to come from the growing El Nino mean there will be widespread drought and famine that could kill millions of us. Were really facing our extinction event and we KNOW that year on year this will only get worse. Were at a critical point for our survival and its happening much faster than anyone had anticipated before.

I have been ill with the heat, it is almost non apparent.

This is always the problem but if you had lower temperatures then it would be less bad then like less wildfires

Try being a carpet fitter on site in new builds during Junes heatwave (one of busiest weeks of yr)… 3 storey, big attic rooms 7-8 x 5m with sun beaming in windows, 2 flights of stairs with no airflow, especially when it’s time for the “air test” 🥵

This is ridiculous! It doesn’t matter what people would like to see, most people can’t afford electric cars, ground source heat pumps and solar panels. When is the country going to get real and sponsor people to make changes! Get real!

The latest death by heat figures have now been revealed as FALSE. They were generated by, you guessed it, computer modelling. Yes, extreme heat is uncomfortable, yes, some people with health issues will suffer and some may die, but if you hydrate enough and stay in the shade with a draft then you will survive. The fact is many more people die every year from the COLD because they can't afford to heat their homes - but I don't recall seeing a recent Channel 4 documentary about extreme heating bills causing death by freezing!

If only we hadn't lost all the instruction manuals for buidling nuclear power stations.

And yet we keep building data (surveillance) centres and participating in and supporting wars that not only destroy lives but also destroy the planet and environment. But MSM won't address this.
