in some subtropical or desert regions of the US the weather patterns the Europeans are complaining about have been normal for more than 100 yrs take south Florida and the Keys for example its 80 degrees on average 10.67 mos . out of the yr and can easily go over 100 degrees in the summer

Normal connotes some sort of stability, but the likelyhood is far from it. In ten years it's expected that mass deaths will be happening from wet bulb events. The first billion likely die around 2050, not just of heat but system failures including crop production.
