As for oil we heading for a massive recession, at the moment the oil industry is manipulating prices to make any decline look like a small bang. But Trump is driving the car and if Iran doesn't surrender we will end up driving into a wall at 50 mph so everyone should tell Trump to STOP!!

cars run on 'sweet' oil. the effect of the war has been hidden by drawing down on sweet reserves which are steadily falling. the Rest of the economy requires 'sour' oil which is used to make aerial fuel, diesel, and fertilizer. when that runs out the poop hits the fan. your analyst doesn't seem to know this.

whats with everyone thinking usa ground forces can take iran with casualties. absolute rubbish war fare has changed usa hasnt adapted. have you seen the missles. usa cant locate the drone and missle facilities. 150000 troops can be killed quite simply. irgc plus the majority of population want to kill american soldiers and rightfully so.

The sooner the American nation realise tht TRUMP is MAD and do something about it the better for the innocent people of the world... My latest observation of TRUMP's madness is that just recently be boasted and bragged constantly that IRAN was begging him for peace talk --- NOW he is bombing hell out of them again to MAKE them come to the peace talks... AND by the way to their shame the MSM - senate - congress and the public act like his BRAGGING and LIES are noemal ... America has lost all morallity ....

History is testament for bullying tactics to keep control

Kharj Island - 35km offshore from Iran - 100km of Iranian coastline overlooking it - Anyone heard of Gallipoli?
Hormuz - 300-380km of Iranian coastline overlooking it - Can that be policed by B52s at 30,000ft?

This whole administration is a dog and pony show to entertain us while he picks our pockets. Already pocketed 2.2 billion in the first few months of his reign. Nice "work" if you can get it. Man never worked a day in his life. Always had someone else carrying his water and to blame his failures on.

It occurs to me that maybe the greatest tragedy at least so far of this conflict is the opportunity that has been lost for the Iranian people. Just think about what might’ve been accomplished, although on a longer timeframe if we had coordinated with our allies, an overall approach of sanctions kinetic force when it was needed and behind the scenes preparation and coordination with the right people within Iran, and then coordinated the initiation of possibilities. Instead of that we have the result of the daily mood changes of Donald Trump. We focused as we should on the hardship that one person has now imposed on the whole world, but let’s not leave the Iranians out of that. Not the government, but the people of Iran, or at least a large proportion of them.

On a completely unrelated topic, I grew up in the country in East Tennessee in the 50s and 60s and I remember all the folks that I grew up with would say prize instead of pry. It’s really cool to hear him use the same word the same way. It’s always surprised me how many of those similarities remain and honestly, it saddens me that they’re disappearing. The religious aren’t that many people left who talk the way my grandfather did for example. So basically when I’m nostalgic for authentic hillbilly dialogue, I guess I have to listen to British podcasts

If the US thinks it can put troops into there and the Iranians won't drop two ton missile warheads on their heads because Iranian troops are in close proximity they are going to be in for a nasty shock. That's the thing about existential wars. If you have to sacrifice your guys in order to hurt the enemy the calculus becomes real simple.

Oil prices have been mitigated by drawing down reserves that is approaching a terminus

I’m a veteran, and I would be terrified of going to actual war with this commander in chief. Absolutely terrified.

..very old man pushing the same bullshit for over 30 years with the same result. Screwing up young people lives without a milli second thought.
