I feel like Artificial Intelligence would be cool if it was not so environmentally unfriendly and not such a job killer.

How does consumer behavior factor into this?

The AI chatbots are unreliable, so the tech is bad at replacing people.

It's like a "full self driving" car that needs the driver to be alert at all times to prevent a car accident, except with chatbots it's a legal accident, or project failure accident, or reputational damage accident, or a consumer harm accident, that is about to happen due to chatbot hallucination.

Between Bannon and Sanders, which one is a convicted felon? Bannon. So they are not equal.

The tech elites are tone deaf. They are shocked that increasingly more people are against being shunted aside and replaced by AI and robotics.

It's amazing to see how the west is just laying down and surrendering to the east. I never thought I'd imagine it becoming a cultural surrender like this. Just common people deciding to completely give up in life and the world.....

I wonder what happened to cause this? Like, just a complete break down in western society to even care about the future anymore.....

AI must follow a modern Azimov's law of robotics or there will be a Butlerian Jihad.

The most arrogant, ignorant people I've ever met are successful FAANG employees. They have no ability to conceive of the potential harm they are causing to the human race by eroding capacity for thought. They don't even believe people who don't think like them ever had capacity for thought.

are we really abdicating from our humanity and sealing our extinction knowingly, or has AI been manipulating the greed of the Tech Bros to ensure we do so?

Take these thousand programmers is the reality😢

I like Max a lot and think we'd all be better served to listen and think about his ideas. He has spent a lot of time and gathered many great minds to consider the multitude of issues that AI garners

Did you not think for even a moment what you were doing?

Edit I may have understood the interviewees point, it is an interesting discussion.

If the tech-bro billionaires were faced with prison time when AI makes a fatal mistake then the AI rollout would be much slower.

Everyone should see this video. We are in a terrifying race-to-replace, but all we have to do is open our eyes.

If "AI replaces humans" what exactly are humans supposed to do for money? And without money, who is going to buy what these giant companies are trying to sell?
