People created a monster of a bubble. They assume AI is this miraculous, at least semi-conscious entity lurking in your IT systems. It is not. It is the product of vast human collaboration. The AI stock market bubble is the greatest bubble ever created. In Magnitude it surpasses 1929 and 2000. Once it pops...everything will tank. People are all envisioning great forward earnings. But those earnings will all be built on the destruction of our human economy and once there will be no real human consumers left down the line how can future earnings be sustained. Furthermore, assuming AI indeed has an 'intellectual capacity' that vastly surpasses that of the smartest single humans out there alive...who, quantitatively speaking, really will be left to partake, control and shape its future achievements? It's like we are creating a 'borg cube' that will self-replicate and assimilate the economy at the cost of humans...if AI eventually hoovers up all profits in an economy where will the rest of the economy go...Humans eventually will have no function in that world...and no economic value..

Top two paid for AI are pretty fantastic for coding and analyzing anything better than average person. What’s that worth?

Whether it pops or not, AI is here to stay, whether we like it or not.
What we can do as individuals is engage less with it in our own way as we move about our day.

There’s a lot of potential in the infrastructure but investors are increasingly running out of patience and want to see real returns in ai.

Stocks go up because earnings are so strong. It’s taking a breather right now, which is healthy

I doubt the AI bubble will pop, but I am looking forward to the massive "pfblblblblbl" sound it'll make when it deflates...

What? AI companies made 20% of the S&P 500 before ChatGPT launched? How does that work? Do they mean companies that have since moved into AI?
