I feel very sorry for Anne Widcomme, I might not share the majority of her views, but no one should have their lives prematurely ended.

Who benefits with the timing of this vile murder?

I can't understand how repulsive and vile some people are online.There seems to be a mass pathology amongst the online public both left and right .It is not the swearing that offends but the maliciousness and vitriol spouted.

Hague reminds people that not only Cox and Amiss were murdered MPs, there was Airey Neave and Ian Gow, the Labour Party try to forget them.

MPs have to learn to be more polite, and to SERVE the people better

And it all started with Farage and his Brexit campaign.

I’m not a Lib Dem, but I think it’s important to also remember a Lib Dem MP was badly injured and his assistant was murdered with a sword in an MPs surgery. I don’t think policing is up to protecting the general public any more, neither is the entire criminal justice system. MPs and others being murdered is just more visible, but we are all at risk of violence. Even in the provincial city I live in there have been people out fighting with machetes, an innocent man going about his normal business murdered by a stranger, multiple people run over deliberately too. Every day people in public facing jobs in supermarkets,public transport, healthcare and other places face threats of and actual violence. It’s simply not good enough for any of us, politicians and the general public.
