Why does this game (and Connections, and Wordle) need a lose mechanic AT ALL!? If you take 10 or 15 guesses to figure it out, if you choose to brute force it, that's bad why? Be Spanagram, be Pips, let us play your game and complete your game however good or bad at it we are.
it feels like the hard version (optional super challenge) would be to have a mode where you can input all your guesses before you get any confirmation. inputting all 4 sets of 3 (without knowing if the first ones you put in are correct or if you got the hub word right) seems like the only way to truly maintain the central game mechanic/gimmick whie also adding challenge

Actually it’s brilliant! It’s positive reinforcement for being rewarded more for doing more but not being punished for doing less. That’s actually the way behavior works in both animals and humans, which is why treats work for training dogs but hitting them on the nose for doing wrong doesn’t. So the way your game is set up is reinforcement for people to keep playing it. Psychology is fascinating.
I like this game and wish it was going to be available for more than 1 HAU [Hank Attention Unit], because it's a very fun addition to my daily word game rota.
Should have played connections at the end of this video 😂

Bonus super hard mode: drag everything into position before hitting "supersubmit" to guess all categories at once. Good luck!
