Show us the direct evidence which proves previous generations of ants didnt work together. Right, there is no direct evidence. You seem to imply that this was a conscious decision on their part . If so, then why haven't all insects adopted this process if it's so beneficial to their success ? Is it because they lack the ants' mental capacity ?
