Fuego is like clockwork, it goes off every 20-30 mins usually, I was here when the major eruption in 2018 killed over 200 people, Camping on Acetenango about 1.5 mile away as the crow flies, and did the midnight run to the last viewpoint on Fuego some 100m from the summit. nature is astonishing.
