EVs are bound to fail. Look at what happened in USA. The govt. has given up on its aggressive policy towards pushing EVs, withdrawn all subsidies towards EVs and left the choice of vehicles to consumers. EVs are not at all reliable. These are bound to fail. EV bubble is going to blast in India just like it blasted in USA and Europe.
target made for comercial vehciles, 2 wheelers, 3 wheelers but no target for personal cars. It shows the govt is against lower middle class and middle class. But no deadline for personoal car owners
Delhi's pollution is from stubble burning, construction, and natural sand/ dust coming from the adjoining agricultural regions with few trees and mostly flat planes. The vehicular contribution is minimal. So, no, it will not clear the air, but it will definitely clear the pockets of the Delhites.
