She got off light.....Will she be out in eighteen months or less.....Meanwhile the attorney general has expressed his thoughts that twenty one years is 'too light' a sentence fro her son.....Then there's the other members of this family and the possesion of knives and other bladed articles.....WHATS THE BETTING THAT ALL THIS....ALL THIS.....WILL BE DOWN GRADED OVER TIME AND ALL WILL GET OFF LIGHTLY LEAVING THE NOWAK FAMILY THE LOOSERS IN ALL THIS....??

Absolutely heartbreaking case. I can't imagine what the family is going through, but it's shocking that a mother would choose to protect her son by destroying evidence like that. Do you think three years is a fair sentence for obstructing justice in a murder case?

I agree, Mara, it's just devastating. Three years feels far too light when you consider how much that act hindered the search for the truth.

Three years is a slap on the wrist, Mara. When you obstruct justice and protect a killer, the penalty needs to be a knockout blow.

It's absolutely heartbreaking to see a family member choose to protect a killer over justice for young Henry. I can't even imagine the pain the Nowak family is feeling right now. Do you think a three-year sentence is enough for obstructing such a serious crime?
