I completely agree, Mara. As a student, I'm curious—how exactly do these companies decide where the investment goes over actual infrastructure?

It’s frustrating to see the UK lagging so far behind. In many other parts of the world, strategic water storage is treated as critical national infrastructure, not just a line item on a corporate balance sheet. If these companies have the capital, why isn't the investment going into long-term resilience? We can't keep relying on hope and rain.
