And Americans blames Canada for the smoke and fires. Canada has helped America through 9/11, hurricanes, wildfires, floods and countless mutual-aid deployments. We didn’t invoice you. We didn’t blame you for the weather. We just showed up. That’s the difference! As a former bush pilot flying exhausted fire crews around the north and seeing my former community being evacuated makes me so pissed off at Americans. Right now they can go………
So glad the people on the train were rescued. 🇨🇦 ❤ I’m in Milwaukee and last summer was also bad. Today started at AQI 339, peaked at 11a at 635 (never saw it this bad), and is now 251 AQI. It was a crazy day. I have heart and breathing issues so stayed inside. Be safe everyone. 🥰 😷
Let me put this catastrophe into perspective. I am 65 and lived through the late stages of Pittsburgh's industrial era and the current weather we are experiencing in western Pennsylvania is equal to the pollution of the 1960's and 1970's. This horrible smoke jarred lose past memories of the way Pittsburgh used to be.
