Starship Flight 13 continues to move toward launch, but several major questions remain after SpaceX completed only a single-engine static fire test of Ship 40 before unexpectedly returning the vehicle

Max' favorite word: though

I'm from coastal NC, and easily handle our sunshine with just a BB cap. I've been to Florida in July. And even I was🌞🫣🌞
Sucked so bad

Thank you for the update 😊.

awesome having u spacex employees let us know what's going on, appreciate you and the whole spacex team!

Max....consider the sunglasses as TPS for your retinas!

I love the random truck with a forklift on the back hauling the engine... Can u imagine that conversation when they get home? "Guess what babe, I hauled a freaking rocket engine today!" Lol

Flight 13 Late July/ early August

I seem to have missed the pouring of the concrete for 37A's tower base. Cured enough to have 3 sections of tower on top, so it must have been a while.

I agree with Markus House that the flange and associated holes below are for the fuel transfer testing.

Solid update Macho-Man! Ooooooh Yeeeeeeeaaaaah!

Crazy to think that we might have 4 pads in just over a year.

Once again a great recap of the week👍

Yah boi looks slick! I vote for Max dawning the shades in every Starship Update Video Play! If you put them on for every intro, could be a nice callback to NCIS, lol!

I'm pretty confident they'll be able to pull of Flight 13 in July. I'd go as far as to say that if it goes mostly well, we'll see two flights this summer.

Wow Caesar is getting much closer shots of static fires now. 🤣 Super cool SpaceX let him put a camera in the skirt. Kidding aside, love the work, and rock those shades.

I spent 10 years working in the LCC building behind you there. Retired now, miss my job.

17:24 That jump didn't go as planned.

Ship 40 completed its single-engine static fire... but then returned to the production site without performing the expected six-engine test.

🤔 What do you think happened?

• Engine swap?
• Additional inspections?
• Just a new Version 3 testing sequence?

Also, when do you think Flight 13 launches?
