Just brought some Palantir

Palantir doesn't surveil, they make tools make sense of surveillance data. Surveillance platforms include phones and computers where users are blissfully unaware of the privacy they forfeited by default or by neglecting permissions.

It is important to recognize that state intervention and the separation of families by the UK government predates modern technology companies like Palantir. Historical records show that the Poor Law of 1834 mandated the strict segregation of families in workhouses. Furthermore, between the 1860s and 1970, the government facilitated the forced migration of approximately 130,000 children to Commonwealth nations. From 1949 to 1976, state and religious institutions also oversaw the forced adoptions of roughly 185,000 babies. The infrastructure of state control has existed for centuries, well before the digital data systems debated today.

This makes me more bullish on PLTR

Saying palantir enables wars is not that fundamentally different from saying Excel enables wars😂

One of the many inaccuracies in this video...Palantir does not collect data, their customers collect data and Palantir shows their customers how to do something useful with that data.

Palantir makes us all safer. Period.

In the late Seventies there was a bumper sticker that said More Nukes less Kooks. The Kukes won that round, who was ultimately right, it was not the Kooks, the need for cleaner power has never been greater. The same principal should been applied here the need for Palantir data protects us all from the Kooks.

Palantir is the modern-day IG Farben or IBM's Dahomag, companies that had front and center seats in the Third Reich's operations

or political financial dealings...prove to us its a force for good ??

Palantir is the Patriot Act on steriods and meth

Thank you for recommending Palantir.

Maybe the government should be more concerned about how the UK biobank data appeared for sale in China on Alibaba. Maybe it's something to do with how it's so common for academics in UK universities to misuse UK biobank data, from downloading it into their personal devices to sharing it with people that don't have permission to access it. And you want to talk about Palantir? Give me a break

There are videos on YouTube of Larry Ellison stating that tech companies need to access private data to train AI models now that they have usurped the public data from the internet

The only surveillance necessary in a democracy is the level of surveillance voters agree to. Anything beyond that is government overreach.
@
Ignorance lead to doubts. Doubts lead to fear. Fear leads to the abandonment of the best the tools to improve work efficiency and save money for the government.
@
Sounds like a smart investment. Thank you for recommending Palantir.
