I think the PSA Kazakhstan got for Tengiz was pretty good. Just look at what percentage of government revenue comes from it. Additionally Kazmunaygas has a large equity share.
As a Kazakh citizen I want to say that the money is not equally distributed. The oil revenues go direct to the pockets of few and the remaining funds Astana and Almaty. Other regions heavily underfinanced, especially Western Kazakhstan regions. As it's commonly known the elite is from Senior Juz and other regions are underrepresented in the system.
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) operates one of the world’s largest oil pipelines, stretching roughly 1,500 kilometers from the massive Tengiz field in Kazakhstan to the Russian port of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea. It transports nearly 1% of the global oil supply and handles about 80% of Kazakhstan's total crude exports.
The remaining 20% of oil export utilize Caspian Sea Tankers and the BTC Pipeline to reduce reliance on Russia.
Kazakhstan loads crude onto tankers at the Port of Aktau. The oil is shipped across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan, where it enters the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline network, traveling through Georgia to the Turkish Mediterranean coast.
Kazakhstan-China Pipeline: Oil is transported directly eastward via pipeline (from Atasu to Alashenko) to supply the Chinese market.
The main and only problem of my country is corruption. That’s why people don’t get revenue from oil and other mineral resources and have to live in poor condition created by first president and continued by second.
Interesting choice to frame it as “oversupply of human capital.” Why not, “we haven’t worked hard enough at economic diversity to provide job opportunities for all our citizens to live prosperous lives”?
