If I get this wrong, 50,000 people will hear it.

Bellringer here, I can guarantee newcomers will be welcome at almost every tower that has a band of ringers.
@
The man with Parkinsons is very correct, the physical and mental work will absolutely slow the progression of neurodegeneritive diseases. Wish the best for him, abd that he can keep it ringing for years to come.
@
Those bells were made 98 years before Tom visited the foundry ... Which explains why so few foundries are left
@
Having broken some, now Tom uses them for their intended purpose.
@
Tom: fumbles something he seems to be supposed to be good with, then quietly moves away like it's a sin to have inconvenienced everyone

I have never felt so represented before
@
id love to be living there and going "huh, the bells sound a bit off today"
@
Iโ€™ve just rang my local church to enquire about bell ringing - they said to go down tomorrow and they will show me the ropes
@
"That scares the-" (remembers he's on video in the top of a church) "-life out of me."
@
When I was 16, my girlfriend was a bell ringer in her local church. They let me have a go once and I was so bad hahaha. It was scary as hell when the realisation set in that it wasn't as easy as it looked, and I was only given the lightest bell too.

Suffolk Guild of Bell Ringers is actively looking for new ringers.
@
As a bellringer this was so fun to watch
@
As they are everywhere you do often forget how impressive church bells are.
@
Memorising all the bell work in just 1 hour before the big performance is like you didn't study for the exams the night before so you gotta cram 8 textbooks on the bus ride there, while supposedly also chewing on your pencil(s) for stress relief until they disintegrate into wood pulp and soggy lead.
@
I donโ€™t know what Iโ€™m finding more jarring: Tom in my hometown, or a lowercase video title

"okay fine you win here's the bellringing video" was a glorious title. I will miss it.
@
With this video it'll be a lot more than 50,000
@
I would have saved this as the finale to the series so it began with bells being made and ended with bells from that foundry being rung.

This video might seem familiar to most of us.

Because it rings some bells.
