Christopher Nolan is a brilliant director, but what reached me was his humility. His humility is the source of the truth he brings to everything he touches. He is a true artist. His life has purpose, and AGE will never diminish his gifts.
Man, I miss this kind of talks, where the interviewer asks questions, intelligent questions, which are really related to the artist, the project and so on, without trying to spark a controversy just for clicks and where the interviewee gets the time to answer questions, without permanently beeing interrupted. A few days ago, I watched Mr. Stewart’s 2019 speech on behalf of the people suffering from the aftermath of 9/11.
To me, that speech came straight from the heart and gave me hope at a time when very little hope seems to be left.
So, Mr. Stewart, I’m sorry to say this, but we need you now more than ever. Please stay sharp, stay hungry, and keep pushing—keep fighting for what you believe in.
Thank you for everything you’ve done so far. With the greatest respect, I don’t think the work is finished yet, and I hope you’ll continue.
Nolan doesn't do many TV interviews. Last one I saw was with Colbert. Something bittersweet about seeing him come to The Daily Show to speak with Stewart.
