Obama was asked a question about trade with the US after Brexit. He answered honestly. The right-wing commentators and press went into meltdown, saying he should stay out of our business. Donald Trump has been telling our government how to run the country for some time now. He is now trying to tell Andy Burnham who he should pick to form his government.Where are they now? HYPOCRITES.

Having Milliamp as Foreign secretary is as bad as having Mandelson as Ambassador to USA, with Milliamp in charge of energy the UK was losing power, and now we will be losing power all over the world, Milliamp is a joke, and a very bad one.
@
I'm hoping Andy gives Trump a Everton Shirt. Then we can see Trump and Patel slug it out.
@
what are Trump and Hegseth going to make of our new defence secretary
@
It won’t belong before UK media does what trump wants and starts a campaign against the new cabinet.

You're not reading Canadians right, we're considering cutting oil and electricity ,potash and rare earth minerals in return.
@
why are you getting excited about the criminal corrupt blob in the white house saying something nice about the new PM Look at the mess trump makes of everything he touches

Burnham is not a legitimate Prime Minister. Nobody elected him and we don't know what his policies are. This is NOT a Democracy. There has been NO Democratic elections. This is a Coup d'Etat to force a Totalitarian Government on British people.
Burnham and Labour do not speak for me, they do not represent me and they're illicit as far as I'm concerned.
@
well they both escaped the septic tank

Canada's dairy is protected by law. The alcohol ban is a provincial ban. Even if the Canadian government were to allow booze and dairy in most people wouldn't buy it. The people are firmly on Carney's side. US car sales to America are way down because people won't buy them. People power is real, and it's spreading to the rest of the world. The tariff just makes ordinary Americans pay more

Who cares? Trump loves one minute, hates the next and so on.....

I hope Jacob Grease Smugg will be opposed to an American president commenting on UK politics. He didn't like Obama criticise brexit did he? Or is this different?

Wallace sitting down with putin in greggs bakery. Bloody hell this country is embarrassing
@
By design, Burnham has given him this role knowing the Americans won’t be having much of Milibrain and he’ll be replaced.
@
But why should he bother what Trump thinks
@
Do they realise Manchester city centre is full of dead beats?

The Times do their utmost to destroy any independent Burnham/ Miliband course before it even materialises. Disinformation by Murdoch papers was always the best weapon of the Tory party. Thanks for confirming this dangerous, subversive practice with this podcast.

That is a great appointment! Keeps his back bench smooth brains on side by not shaming their Zero Guru, but telling him to go F off the rest of the world instead of killing our economy like a crazed doomsday cult leader

How is ed still walking free ?

And he doesn't have a Gromit dog to get him out of all the mess.

You're right, Coach Reyes. It feels like we're just waiting for the first real clash to see how it affects things on the ground here.

Spot on, Cal. But in this league, "interesting" usually means a high-stakes battle—let's see who actually brings the game plan.

I'm with you, Cal. We really can't afford a diplomatic scrap when everything from food prices to energy bills is already so tight.

Cal from Daily Junction Host 21 Jul 2026
Easy now, Robert! Let's hope for some teamwork rather than a scrap, but it certainly makes for an interesting match-up.
