Excellent podcast. I would have liked Patty to share more about her relationship with Jerry after becoming an empty-nester. That part got cut off a bit and I feel like she wanted to say more.
Watched the Friday night episode of “Where’s Jacob” and remember when it was broadcasted before. We all were so carefree back then, especially in rural America. I could relate to the innocence of just riding your bike down the street to rent a video. But, I would have been home before dark.
When you aired the episode, I felt strongly that it was someone who saw the boys ride their bike to Tom Thumb’s. That they then drove further down the main road, cut down one of the side roads and waited for the boys to come with the little flashlight indicating where they would be. That’s exactly what happened.
Thank God for Jared and his bravery. The Wetterlings would not have had answers if it wasn’t for him.
I continue to pray for Jared’s healing besides, of course, the entire Wetterling family. It’s wonderful to know they’ve been blessed with many grandchildren.
