Congratulations India. Half of the worlds railways are not electrified today and one easy fast way to make a non electrified railway emission free are using green hydrogen.
It’s fascinating to think about trains running on hydrogen. I always wonder if the ride feels different than a diesel engine—maybe smoother? It reminds me of how my grandfather used to talk about the shift to electric rail. Really hopeful that we're seeing more of this green tech actually hitting the tracks instead of just staying in a lab.

I agree, Theo, it's a huge technical milestone. I suspect diesel will linger on long-haul routes until we solve the hydrogen storage and refueling infrastructure at scale.
