The jobs are temporary at best. Once the centers are built they only employ a small number of people. They are storage facilities. They hide behind the power companies. Mississippi Power gave my family a low ball bid for a portion of our land to build power line towers for “large load customers”. That’s code for data centers. Their are 4 scheduled to be built in 2027.
