My son just turned 22, he's been very lucky and has £24,000 from an inheritance he now holds in savings, i know very little about investing but i know enough to convince him to invest it, he seems keen on the idea but i was unsure how to guide him, think i will advise the global approach.

I went for Vanguard's Gloabl All Cap. Yes it is a bit more expensive than the cheapest option but it has exposure to small-cap value factor, which was historically rewarding.
@
Mostly FTSE global all cap on VG for me

This is the only video people should make each week. Not buy this company but that company just buy all companies I prefer VWRP

I just discovered by watching a video earlier today that PACW is an ESG fund, due to Amundi's ESG policy across all its investments. I didn't know that, despite reading up on it and nearly transferring a chunk of my SIPP into it at the beginning of this year. I'm glad I opted for the HSBC All World OEIC, as I avoid ESG funds and just go for the whole market. (I prefer to make my own mistakes when it comes to thematic investing thanks very much).

IMID (ETF) and VAFTGAG (fund) for me. Love a small-cap component.

Decided to go for LGGG and EMIM
@
fantastic detailed analysis of instruments we take for granted.
@
VWRP and VWRL. Appreciate there are cheaper funds but these are the 2 most highly liquid distribution and accumulation funds on the market
@
HSBC's fund seems best to me, it has a track record and the fund fee is competitive enough.
@
The spread on some funds can be surprisingly large as well.
@
For me HSBC FTSE all world 95% and Vanguard MSCi small cap 1-5%
@
FWRG, as when got it ACWI was still in the 0.4% range !

Love my ACWI. It’s the only thing I continue to invest in. My S&P etfs continue but all my new investments are in ACWI.
@
FWRG seems the best to me. I've put my money there.
@
tl:dr - invest in a global tracker, every day/week/month and don't forget. get on with your life. How this should have been drilled into 20 year old me... Great job on Vid.
