Yeah I think ive overcome this. I already recognised like yeah this is an obsession and infatuation than an actual connection. Ive liked this girl at work for around 2 years. I never liked her only just gave the casual hi. After some months I just started developing feelings. I would get really happy when shes around but because I already suffer from anxiety I started to avoid her. It was something that made me isolate completely. I like her. But why? I dont even know her that well. It took several months of seeing her and not seeing her around. My days would be fine then if I saw her and failed to say hello my entire week would be ruined. I was very focused and obsessed with like pursuing her and failing the most basic social queues when she would show up. The last thing I wanted was her to feel uncomfortable by me like I was very comflicted asking myself. Does she feel the same way? Basic social interactions made me fool myself into thinking there was meaning to those but everyone can do those things.
