Well... I guess the USA and Israel could just take the Euro-approach to dealing with tyrants, hell bent on destroying or annexing their neighbours. i.e. they could massively increase trade with Iran and make their economies entirely dependent on Iranian oil....just like Europe did with Russia! And just like Europe has done with China (Taiwan and Tibet are someone else's problem, of course).
Selling out the security of the rest of the ME to appease the Mullah's (and make as much trade money out of the deal as they can) is how the "sophisticated" Europeans would deal with Iran!

No, Trump has threatened a NATO ally with annexation of it's extended territory Greenland, he failed to notify any allied nations or share intelligence that he would join Israel in illegally striking at Iran, thereby preventing any strategising and preparation with fleet deployments or heightened alert states for bases in Cyprus and elsewhere. Trump has threatened to withdraw U.S support of the U.K's claim to the Falklands, has threatened to end all trade with another NATO ally Spain and has lambasted blanket tariffs on allied nations causing tremendous loss of wealth and economic damage rather than pursue sensible, respectful negotiations towards better trade deals. He is an egomaniac, tyrannical fool who is too used to bullying his way through both business and now politics. Britain needs to bring home it's nuclear capability instead of loaning it from the U.S and relying on their bases for repair. We need to keep the Chagos Islands and end that insane treasonous deal or paying to give it away, while failing the people who live there. We need to invest rapidly into expanding our naval fleet without delay and repairing every submarine, to prepare for any future threats to our chan

It's refreshing to hear someone speak about "real hope" rather than just painting a perfect picture. I wonder though, what does he see as the most critical immediate trade-off we'll have to make to actually achieve that cost of living relief?
