No mystery to unravel here.. parliamentary system works like this everywhere - indirect election of the PM.
But more importantly, PMs in britain are dropping like flies… I don’t think they realize that the PM isn’t the problem

Nonsense, the UK does not vote for a Prime Minister - we vote for representatives and the majority party gets to form the executive

Burnham is PM bc Labour essentially conducted an internal coup (with Starmers approval).

He was elected to be a member of Parliament on a shockingly low vote of only 24,000 people by the people in Makersfield.

He has been essentially hoisted into this position by Labour without the Nations consent and he has literally ZERO mandate to raise taxes, change voting systems, give our money away.

This is another dark day for the UK and further evidence of the country's managed decline.
