I loved when he suddenly made parallel to economy. Drawing parallel to other domain is absolutely insightful. Do it more please.

4:26 Why I'm excited anytime I see Chuck co-hosting.

Kinda mind-blowing every time I think about the fact that the most basic foundation of all the everything is the energy holding the tiniest little pieces together..and that basically starts with light from the sun.
@
Sounds like a lyric in the Ironic song.
"And isn't it ironic, don't you think,
It's like whhhhaaaaalleeesss eating tiny little krill"

10:45 Like Beavis and Butthead selling candy for school and just passing the same dollar back and forth to each other and eating all the candy lol
@
I love the new format and graphical style. It makes the funny into hilarious.

Brilliant analogy. As an economist, what struck me most is that the economic equivalent of the Sun may not be trade itself, but knowledge. A country can theoretically grow in isolation if it keeps generating new ideas, but in practice trade often acts as a channel for importing knowledge, technology, and competition. The video made me think about economic growth from a completely different angle.

That we are indirectly solar powered is an interesting idea! Thank for sharing, mr. Astrophysicist, sir!

Dr Tyson teaches so we common folk can understand science. Thank you !

Cannibalism is a crazy starting point ๐Ÿ˜‚

This would be a good video for a high school biology class or introduction college biology course.
@
Iโ€™m a chuck convert. Honestly I thought he was just thrown in to quip but he adds a lot that I miss when he isnโ€™t involved. Iโ€™m grateful someone far better than me decided this duo would work.

Chuck answering the where does the outside energy come from with the ancient Egyptian god of the sun caught me off guard ๐Ÿ˜‚
