It’s a grave (rookie? complicit? incompetent?) mistake and a very dangerous one at that to not know that the US sits well “underneath” the interests of Israel. The US doesn’t give money to Israel. Israel forcefully “takes” money from the US. A proxy isn’t someone who controls and funds through lobbying the politicians of the country in actions that go clearly against their best interests. Same with the US military, they have participated in over 100 armed conflicts and nearly 400 foreign interventions, since 1776, its something like in the 250 years since Americas founding there only been 15-20 years with out a conflict or active war.
