There are all over the world scams of all sorts. Go with long existing registered charities. Where was this woman suppositly being treated in UK? Why would she be treated in USA?
UK do they not have Health Care. Asking for month to pay medical billes in states. Anyway it does happen yes.

Don't you get all charities endorsed by celebrities are a Con Children In Need encourage you to ask for Gift Aid but it's a scam and Royal Family takes money from charities.
