In the seventies, the church seemed to do away with some local demands like "budget" (for local buildings). Right after Howard Hughes died. His money has never really been accounted for. Of course, guess who his bankers were.
Didn’t mention the part where the Mormons dressed up as natives to blame them for the massacre. Didn’t mention the fact his own followers had death threats/ bounties placed on their heads for not taking part. My 6x great grandfather moved to Montana and fled the Mormons during this time.
They boldly claim to be Christ's only true church, their leaders claim to be true prophets and seers but this is a predatory organization, they are cowards when it comes to social injustices, they hide behind ambiguity, fail to stand for what Christ would stood for. Their primary focus is on financial gain and real estate investments. It is sad that many people fall for that. I guess many are born into it so they can't really see it for what it is.
i was shocked to see my next door neighbor as the talking head in this podcast,,,i guess he overlooked mentioning him getting kicked out of the LDs church which maybe gives this biased reporting so odd,.. i guess having a non stop weekly train of young boys to his house for sleepovers was not helpful to his staying as a member

These days, I've noticed Mormons are some of the kindest folks around. I think you can question the religion itself but still totally love the people. ❣
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and as a full tithing payer, I satisfied with the way the church manages the church’s assets and donates to others inside and outside the church. My family has been blessed beyond measure following the teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I can’t wait until the church surpasses a trillion of net worth. There is no better place I would entrust my money. There is ZERO financial corruption inside the church and the leaders make very little. If there aren’t people stealing the money, surprisingly, it accumulates faster.
I was born a member of the church, in Brazil. Growing up, I was taught that if I payed tithing and studied and worked hard I would never go in want of anything. At age 19 I volunteered to serve a mission. My dad paid for my mission but it was obviously heavily subsidized since I went to Japan. They sponsored my visa, took me to a training center, taught me a new language and had me experience a new culture for two years. It forever changed my life. As a form of gratitude for my Savior Jesus Christ I tried to teach about him the best I knew how. I came back home and I attended the church’s university in Utah. Again, life forever changed by that experience. I also have to mention I also attended a catholic university in Brazil so I’m grateful for the donors of that institution too. For me, Paying tithing is a blessing. And the church’s financial growth is indeed a miracle.
