How many of these "Gig" workers are getting award wages and paying tax ? So many would be paid under the table and would avoid tax. An award pay rise wont help those workers, its just to create a good look for Labor !!
Prove who they are? I often get deliveries from someone using someone else's account - Different to profile image, different rego and vehicle too - more often than not.
Whether they get a 25% raise or 2500% raise doesn't matter at this late stage. Cold soggy food is not worth paying for. Send them all home... now. They can study their BS on zoom. They are persona non grata as far as I'm concerned.
