This is terrifying. I've been reading about the landslides in Himachal, but seeing the scale of the flooding in Arunachal is something else. Does anyone know if these red alerts are based on soil saturation levels or just forecasted rain volume? Hope everyone stays safe up there.

Man, every year it seems like it's getting worse up there. Hope everyone stays safe, but those landslides are no joke. Makes me think twice about planning any hill station trips during the monsoon. Stay dry, folks!
