Downing Street has backed calls for Fifa to investigate Argentina's players who celebrated their World Cup semi-final victory over England by brandishing a banner about the Falkland Islands on the pit
I dont really understand why it is a sense of pride to them that they invaded some islands that never belonged to them (completely unprovoked), hundreds of their soldiers died, and then they surrendered...
I was just saying to my missus it was insulting the way they had acted towards our country.
We sang our national anthem with pride, while they shouted.
Utterly appalling team, I'd be ashamed to call myself Argentinan.
I was born in Portugal, but I have made my life amungst lions.
Thank you for the welcome, you will always have my full support.
FIFA will investigate nothing !! Infantino will do absolutely nothing about it ! but they can cry about it all they want, we all know who's flag fly's over Port Stanley....
The Falklands war contributed towards ending dictatorship in Argentina , a dictatorship that murdered thousands of there own innocent people....they should be reminded about that...it might help them realise we did them a favour.
That's the same flag Argentina used at Falklands but with some writing on it.

Come on Spain!
They had a very small garrison for a small period of time after the Spanish withdrew but nothing more.
Learn the history, it goes back over a hundred years prior to the Falklands war
